Vehicle Detail
1979 Trans Am (Restored/Non-Concourse), Weekend Show Car/Driver. 6.6 Liter Olds 403 V-8, TH350 Automatic Transmission (Both Originals to the car pulled & rebuilt), T-Tops, WS-6 Package, 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, Posi-Trac Rear End (w/ factory tag intact), Large Diameter Front & Rear Sway Bars, Power Tilt Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks (non-working actuators), Factory A/C (converted to R-134A), Factory WS-6 Wheels 15" x 8" (refinished) wrapped in BF Goodrich TA Radials, Original Inflatible spare tire and jack, Original Fischer T-Tops w/ Storage Bags, New Shocks (Front & Back), New Front Coil Springs, New Front Wheel Bearings, New Rear Wheel Calipers, New Brake Pads, Master Cylinder, New Camel Hobnail Cloth Upholstery, All new interior panels (Dash Cap), New Carpet, New Door Panels, New Windshield and Door Glass, New Weatherstripping, Phoenix Graphics Decal Kit Installed. Sony Xplode AM/FM/CD/MP3 Player, Power antenna. The steering column is loose and needs to be rebuilt, which I will include a solid/tight column for parts out of another Trans Am (The car is safely driveable in it's current condition). It has an exhaust leak out of the passenger side manifold which will need repaired. There is a blemish on the shaker scoop (see attached photo),from where a paint company swabbed it to color match (I am told this can come off), a light scratch on the passenger side door (see attached photo), which you cannot see when the car is freshly waxed and buffed and (1) rock chip on the front bumper cover above the passenger side headlight (smaller than a pencil eraser). All of the lights and gauges are operable, but some will require some minor trouble shooting. The majority of the cosmetic restoration was done by noted Trans Am Specialist, Texas Trans Ams in Kennedale, Texas. Restoration was completed in 2009 and the car had aproximately 85,000 (believed to be original miles on it) with approximately 3,000 miles since the restoration of the vehicle. This is a nice driver quality/weekend show restoration. The car turns heads everywhere I go. I take it to local car shows and cruise-ins where it has won several awards. I will include a factory service manual and all paperwork on all parts and supplies which I put into the car during restoration. Seller reserves the right to end auction early, since it is also for sale locally. Thank you for your interest.
