I am selling a 1949 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup. It is a 3/4 Ton truck. Mechanically, this truck is all original with the original 216 6-cylinder engine. It is a manual 4-speed transmission on the floor with granny gear. The engine was re-built prior to me purchasing it in 2005 and runs fine with no smoke or problems. The wiring was replaced in 2006 as well as new brake lines, new brakes. The pickup bed was replaced with brand-new metal and a new wood floor in 2006. The truck was disassembled and re-painted in 2006. It has been garage kept since 2006. The seats were re-covered with brown vinyl in 2006. This truck actually runs very well for it age and condition. All of the metal is solid. The cab corners are solid with no rust. The running boards are solid. The actual mileage in unknown. Here is a list of some of the new items on the truck. - interior headliner (original cardboard style) - Brake Master Cylinder and brake lines - All window glass and rubber seals - New bed metal (all except the tailgate) - New water pump - New steel wheels (plus two extra steel wheels) - New rubber floor mat - New rear bumper - Generator and voltage regulator was recently rebuilt and adjusted - New brake shoes on all 4 wheels - Steering linkage was re-built with new parts from chevyduty.com Please contact me with questions.
