This is a original gold Datsun 280Z 2+2 with just one owner. This Datsun had been sitting with a car cover since 1999 and driven very little up to that point.
We have inspected the vehicle & serviced the motor with new fluids, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, battery and fresh fuel. It runs & drives well. The motor sounds solid. The 4-speed transmission shifts well. The clutch feels great. The brakes work fantastic. The electrical components works as they should.
The interior is all original and complete. The drivers seat has some tears. The dash has some cracks. The headliner has some sags. The interior has a musty smell. Overall, it is in great shape. It includes the original owners manual in the glove box. Factory Air conditioning.
The exterior is very straight and has never been re-painted. It has the original paint. It does have superficial rust on the hood and various other locations. The rear rockers have rust that can be repaired. The lower drivers side rocker has dents. It can be restored or driven as is. All of the glass is excellent condition. it had a vinyl top from the factory that has been removed.
The wheels are in super shape. The tires are old but look surprisingly good with lots of tread.
This Datsun 280 Z 2+2 four seater is a neat car with lots of character. It's a rare find with tons of potential. you can drive it daily now. It's a great candidate for a restoration. It's a 100% original car.
We were told by the original owner that the mileage is correct. It looks as the 31443 miles are true. We cannot guarantee the mileage however.
