1986 was the final year for the CJ model line. Just added POWER BRAKES, NEW HEATER CORE (HEAT WORKS GREAT) and POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL GRILL!! Tires are new with only three hundred miles on them. This one is a fine testament to the breed, and sure to become a collectible. This Jeep has not yet been completely restored, but the motor, engine compartment and dash have been totally rebuilt, and a lift kit has been added. Obviously, the previous owner spent a lot of hours - and a lot of dollars - getting this Jeep to where it is. We don't know when the rebuilds were done, but it looks like it was not too long ago. There are some pictures of the project with the Jeep, and we have scanned some of them for you and added them to the gallery. Please take a look. The 4.2 liter I6 really runs great, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. Its obvious this Jeep will continue to provide fun for many years to come. A lift kit was added when the rebuild was done, giving you a little extra ground clearance for off-road journeys. A stainless steel dash was also added, and it looks great with the black paint. Outside, the shiny black paint is complimeted by a nice set of mag wheels, off-road tires form BF Goodrich, a custom front bumper with bull bar, custom rear bumper, tubular steps, a hitch, and diamond plate accent cladding. The Hard Top is generally in very good condition, but there is a crack at both front corners (please see the pictures). The seats are all in good shape, and the overall interior is also nice, but it could use some detailing. There are some new pieces of weather stripping and a bikini top included. Underneath, you'll see a new exhaust system - and NO ROT (again, see the pics). The Autocheck goes back as far as 1993 and shows no accidents and registration only in Florida. Looking at the underside of the Jeep, we have to believe its been here its whole life. These Jeeps are a lot of fun to own and drive - and you should drive this one.
