Vehicle Detail

This is a really nice original CB77. A real Survivor with just the right Patina. Frame # CB77-1046118 Engine # CB77E-1046148 I picked this bike up from a gentlemans personal collection up in Oregon.I am a collector myself and I buy, fix, ride, and sometimes sell these wonderful machines.I travel and find and buy from the lonely and neglected to the lonely and preserved to the pristine. This particular CB77 is a great looker and runner. It rides just as it should with only less than 8000 miles on it. It has been tuned up as it should be and taken care of any issue that may have caused the bluing of the header pipes. Plugs are burning a nice brown.Starts right up with no noises and no smoking. The tank was removed and cleaned with a non-acid cleaner and got about 95% of the residue and minor rust. I am not a big fan of coating the tanks and this one does not need it. Nice shiny metal inside except in a couple of spots. It is not causing any issues and I don't have any filters on it. The chrome is all in amazing condition. Has the original DID rims. The aluminum is very nice as well and still has a good amount of the original clear on it.The paint looks very nice with only a few minor scratches but it does have a dent on top of the front fender. It is not creased and might be able to be worked out without damaging the paint. You choice.Tires in good shape with minor checking, Michelin up front and a Pirelli int the rear. The mufflers are just about perfect with only one small 1/4" round mark where the center stand hit it. They really look like new.Paint is really nice up front around forks and headlight bucket. There are two small holes drilled on the headlight ears (one on each side 1/4" round) don't know why.Did you check out those period decals on the side covers? The seat is just a big Wow. Original heavy vinyl and nice stainless trim and has the numbers stamped underneath. Also has the gold Honda on the bike that is not so bright it just screams "new seat cover!". The foam is very pliable too. All of the electrics and switches work as they should and the cables are all original with only a few minor cracks in the sheathing. The bucket and guage cluster are beautiful and the tach works fine but the speedometer JUST started making a whining sound and made the needle jump all over.I disconnected it at the speedo head. It needs to be professionally cleaned and lubed. If you don't have a guy in your area I can direct you to someone in LA who does a lot of these. So much so he is 6 weeks out. I could go on and on but the best I can say is it is a great bike that rides nice (it's a blast to ride- real tall geared) and gets compliments wherever I go.If I think of something else I will add to the listing. I also have an original owners manual, two numbered keys and I did not get a tool kit with it but I will put some tools in there for you. I know restored bikes are real "Eye Candy" and I do like looking at them. This bike is for the person who wants a really nice original bike that he wants to hop on and rideand just go have fun and show it off and share it with others. Kind of like what you did with these back in the day right? I have a low starting price with no reserve so have fun bidding and I hope you get it. Please ask any questions before bidding. Oh and it is currently registered and I have the clear Oregon Title. $500.00 deposit to be paid 48 hours of end of auction through Pay Pal..Balance due in cash at time of pickup ot through certified check that must clear before you pick it up.I will be available for your shipping company to pick it up.Obviously it is being sold as-is P.S. I took a few pictures of some of the other bikes for you to enjoy, take care, Bill
