1976 Honda Gold Wing

1976 Honda Goldwing LTD , GL1000. This bike has been owned by the same person from 1977 til today, It has been garage keep it's intire life and you can tell it. It's super clean inside and out. It has been stored for years . The owner has just decided it's time to let it go due to his age (86) . I have never seen a bike this old that looks so good , even the black paint on the mufflers still looks great. The Paint looks as good as the day it can of the showroom floor, The wind jammer fairing looks new with no damage , even the wind screen is as clear as a new one .The Stock Headlight is still inplace behind the faring A friend of his cleaned the carbs , changed the oil and installed a new battery , It was started on an IV bottle because the tank needs to be cleaned which we will do this week and have it ready for the close of the sale, The gold wheels looks new. The tires are really old but are not dry rotted and hold air ( I would NOT try and ride on them) There is 2 small dings in the front fender , They are really small. This bike is a truely one of few unmolested 76 goldwings left , If you need any more info please fell free to call me James 864-266-6618 A deposit of $500.00 must be made within 48 hours of close and full payment within 7 days. I can store the bike for a short time but it has to be paid in full within the 7 days Shipping must be set up by buyer , I will be glad to drop it off at a local shipper. ADDING this to help answer a few questions I have had, The headlight is complete with all part inplace, the hinges are on the covers but the pins are no longer there and we do not have them , I dont not know who cleaned the carbs so I cant say what was done to them or if they are setup right , Everything else works fine , BUT as with any bike that has sat for this amount of time they should be flushed , cleaned or lubed . I WENT DIGGING LAST NIGHT AND FOUND THE LEATHER MANUAL STILL IN IT PLASTIC BAG AND THE TOOL KIT NEW ( IN A BLUE CANVES WRAP) . WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FRONT TURN SIGNALS , HE SAID HE KNOWS HE HAD THEM SOMEWERE, IF WE FIND THEM THEY WILL GO WITH THE BIKE.
