Vehicle Detail
Porsche 944S in good condition for its age. Has approximately 97,000 miles. It has had many parts replaced with new/OEM parts. I have only used OEM or better parts. About three years ago, I replaced the head gasket. It had dried out and was seeping coolant when cold (until it warmed up), but never actually "failed". At that time, I replaced many other seals and wear parts. It has had the problematic rubber hub clutch replaced with a performance Sachs kit. This is the second 944 I have had. I would really like to keep it, but I need to downsize a bit (too many vehicles). It has not been driven much in the last couple of years, just started regularly to keep everything lubricated. It does have the common 944 interior blemishes. The leather seats are cracked, especially the driver's seat. They do have covers on them. The dash is cracked, but has a nice Porsche dash cover. It is a low-mileage vehicle and the rare "S" model. I have put over $3,000 in parts in it since I've had it, too many to list. MOMO Tuner steering wheel. The timing belt has less than 500 miles on it (actually I have changed it twice in the last 15,000 miles just to be safe, I don't like to reuse them). Most all the accessories work. I have not had it tagged and "on the road" (legally) in about 3 years. The paint is in OK condition, really good for original paint. It does have a few chips and such. Overall, the exterior is in good condition. The windshield does have a crack. I have located an original replacement for about $100, just need to have it replaced. NADA average retail value is: $7550 (low retail is $6500). I feel that I have taken the blemishes into account with my asking price ($6000), but may be somewhat negotiable.
