Everything we are able to learn about this vehicle from our road test is fully disclosed. Vehicles are available for inspections and test drives by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Honda Accord LX sedan. The Honda Accord needs no introduction. Its reputation for reliability and quality is known around the world. I would rate the exterior condition of this Accord to be in AVERAGE condition for the age and miles of the vehicle. Overall, this is a good looking Accord. Honda paint (especially green) is known to oxidize over time...and this car is no exception. At spots on the hood, roof and trunk...you can see some thin spots in the paint which is very common. There are no other significant flaws to the finish of this car beyond expected wear. There doesn't appear to be any rust on this Accord. The tires show good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. This Honda is a great value for your money. I would rate the interior of this Honda to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the cabin. The seats are clean, comfortable and show no unusual wear. Being the LX model, this Accord is equipped with upgraded cloth interior, power equippment group, ect... The climate control system appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original factory system which sounds very good. The original owners books are still in the glove compartment, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. The Accord offers plenty of room as well as excellent economy. Mechanically, this Accord appears to be in good running condition. The 2.3L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not notice any smoke or leaks coming from the engine. During my road test, the suspension and steering felt nice and tight. The engine held proper temperature and there were no warning lights on. The brakes do an excellent job of stopping this car and show no signs of pulsation. The left outer CV is clicking and will probably need replaced for inspection in most states. The clutch does not slip or chatter. Gear changes are nice and smooth through the manual transmission. Accelleration is a breeze and highway cruising is smooth. Stick shift Accord sedans are not easy to find. Enjoy the best in reliability, room and economy at the same time with this gas sipping sedan.
