Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available for inspection by appointment only at my York, PA storage faciliy. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to review this entire description carefully before bidding...including all photos as well as my terms & conditions. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1991 Jeep Cherokee 4x4. The Jeep Cherokee needs no introduction. Its reputation for rugged construction and reliability preceed it. I would rate the exterior condition of this Cherokee to be AVERAGE for the age and miles of the vehicle. The red paint doesn't look bad but it doesn't shine like it used to. There are also a few spots of rust on the doors and rear quarters and it doesn't look the best on the roof either. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The tires look good all around, too. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to also be in AVERAGE condition. The door panels are still tight. The carpets show normal wear but are still presentable. The seats are pretty clean...not torn. This is a pretty basic Cherokee so. The radio has been upgraded. The right speaker cuts in and out. Probably a loose wire. The heater works fine. There isn't much to say about the interior. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. In spite of the exterior showing some age, this is one of the nicest running/driving Cherokee's I have ever had. The famous 4.0L strait six starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any smoke or leaks coming from this Jeep. The suspension is nice and tight. The front end is unusually tight for an older Jeep...and the steering is light and responsive. The brakes stop this Jeep well. Out on my road test, this Jeep has shown excellent road manners. She drives nice and strait on the highway...no shaking or pulling. There were no warning lights on. The clutch feels good...no slipping or chattering. Gear changes are nice and smooth through the five speed manual transmission. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. The only issue I have found is that the fuel gauge moves all over the place. I'm guessing the sender is starting to go bad. The engine makes great power. These Jeeps are great in the snow or for hunting. With just 150k miles on the clock, this one feels ready to go another 150k. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
