1987 Suzuki Samaurai Has new tires (two BF Goodrich on front and two snow tires on back w/matching spare included) and front brakes. This is a good little truck and excellent four-wheeler. It has very little rust, with solid floors. The only rust really present is where the stock fender flares were, which could be easily fixed. It starts and runs and goes well as it is, but it could use a few things that we just haven't gotten to. Cosmetic: It is missing the stock hood latch, which explains both the new windshield and the dent across the hood. The hood is tied down with a ratchet strap that works just fine, but should be fixed properly. The exterior is a desert tan color but the interior is the original blue-green color. It would look great in flat-black or bedliner. Functionally: It has a "flat spot" during acceleration. This problem was addressed by Suzuki with a repair kit for the carb, but was never done to this model. It needs a venturi tube in carb which can be purchased inexpensively from Rocky Road Outfitters. Ideally, it could be upgraded with a Weber carb. The transmission whines a bit although it drives and shifts fine. It would benefit from a transmission bearing kit which is available on eBay for less than a hundred dollars. Other things to note about the condition of this truck include that the interior seats, both front and rear are in good shape. The carpet could stand to be replaced. The heat works. The hard top is in great shape, and mounting hardware is all in place. When bidding on this vehicle, please keep in mind that shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. On Jan-11-12 at 13:06:33 PST, seller added the following information: Edit: Hadn't really looked at the listing until a question from a potential buyer made me realize that the rust issue around the wheel wells was not well-described nor easily seen in the pictures. I added new pictures of the wheel well areas to better show the condition. The rust is repairable, but is through the metal. I have, and will include, the original fender flares. They were not on the Sammy when I bought it, and since the studs were all off, I just never got around to putting them on.
