Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you first hand how it looks, runs and drives. Vehicles are available for test drives and inspections by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. I am not a mechanic but I take many photos and represent each vehicle I sell as accurately as possible to the best of my abilities. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a nice 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada. This vehicle is a little different than most I sell. This vehicle is a trade-in like every other one...the difference is that it was traded in by my wife. We have owned this Bravada for about three years now and it has been a great vehicle for us. As our kids are getting bigger, she wanted a minivan so I gave her a van and took the Bravada. I would rate the exterior condition of this Bravada as ABOVE AVERAGE for the age of the vehicle. The red paint looks good if you keep after it but it will fade if you neglect it. There is a very small spot or two of rust beginning at the front left fender but it's still under the paint. The factory gold alloy wheels look great. The front tires are a little thin but the backs are good. Depending on you states inspection laws, you may need to replace the front tires for inspection. They should be good for another year. This Bravada is inspected through 2/2012 in PA for both safety and emissions. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The spare tire is missing...someone stole it last year. Overall, this is a good looking truck. We have taken good care of it. I would rate the interior of this Bravada as ABOVE AVERAGE for the age of the vehicle. The door panels are all clean and tight. There is no door sag. The carpets show well for the age of the vehicle. The tan leather interior shows very well. The leather is still supple and comfortable ( I conditioned them regularly). There are no rips or holes in any of the seats. The headliner is clean. I prefer the Bravada to the Blazer and Jimmy ( I've actually owned three Bravada's personally...sold dozens) because they are so much better equipped. The seats are designed differently and are much more comfortable. Both seats are power operated and work as they should. There is an overhead console with storage and computer plus a generous amount of storage in the arm console. There are power outlets everywhere. The power locks stopped working about a year ago. The power windows all work. The original owners books are included. It comes with one set of keys and one remote for the factory keyless entry (which is kind of useless without power locks). The climate control system is working properly and the air conditioner blows cold. We had the a/c recharged two summers ago. The original stereo has been upgraded to a CD player which sounds great. The digital display was rebuilt right before we purchased the truck and still works well. Mechanically, this Bravada runs great. We have put the last 30k miles on it with little issue. The 4.3L Vortec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I am not aware of any leaks. The engine keeps a steady temperature and keeps excellent oil pressure. The suspension is nice and tight. The steering is tight and responsive. The brakes are good, too. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The SmartTrac AWD system has always worked great and is way better than the traditional set up offered in the Blazer. She cruises nice and easy down the highway. There is a slight vibration in the wheel over 70 but that is most likely those thin front tires I mentioned. The 4.3L engine makes gobs of power. This Bravada is what I compare every other 4.3L to. These can lose compression (power) over time but this is literally the best running one I've ever had. The older injection systems are more reliable, too. These older ones seem to run stronger than the newer ones. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags and registration fees. 30 day transport tags are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for $35.
