1977 Honda Gold Wing

Up for auction is my 1977 Honda Goldwing GL1000. The carbs have just been rebuilt using the Randakk kit, new grips and a brand new battery installed. The tires and brakes are in great shape. The seat is a Saddleman, very comfortable. The bike runs, rides, and stops great and all electrical items work as they should. The "bad": leaks a very small amount of oil from where the tachometer cable enters the case, the seat has a small tear on each side at the base where some hard bags must have been rubbing, there are mounting holes in the passenger grab bar where the bags were mounted, there are many small places all over the frame and body where touch up paint was applied over the years, the headers have surface rust on them, and the speedometer is slow to respond but is accurate, just take a few seconds to catch up with you. That's all the bad I can think of, it's really a great bike in my opinion. It has plenty of power for two-up freeway riding and will cruise at 70 with no issues. The one that was on it was probably also a replacement. I have no idea if sometime in the last 35 years the motor was rebuilt. I feel like the engine is very strong and would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere, but keep in mind that nobody knows how many miles are actually on the bike. I do not NEED to sell the bike, I do not need the money. I'm selling solely to get another bike and don't want to sell something to someone that they feel is not up to par.
