Vehicle Detail
1956 Cadillac 75 Fleetwood Limousine >>> RESERVE LOWERED <<< ** RARE ** Original 365 V8 Automatic Transmission >>>> Original Low Miles 39,058 <<<< Loaded with Power Steering, Power Brakes Power Antenna with Factory Gauges and Radio and Clocks ** Factory Front and Rear Airconditioning ** Autronic Eye Automatic Headlight Dimmer Does not have the Partition Divider I purchased this car so I can run a Classic Car Rental Business because of the car I had before made me alot of money. It was a 1937 Dodge Touring. I pulled in between $400-$900 for a Wedding and $75 per hr for Proms and such. My intentions were to buy something more elegant then a 37 Dodge, so I sold that car and bought this Rare 56 Caddy because it has the body length, the room, the factory front and rear AC which would of been perfect to rent out. I did plenty of research and the Limo Companies that I found old 54-57 Cadillac Fleetwood Limos for rent were making $600-$1400 per wedding. So when I got the car home, it sat for about 2yrs down in Florida in the dry heat which took a toll on the door panels / headliner and dashpad. They are warped and cracked but very usuable for patterens to make new panels. The seats are in good condition and can be left alone or redone to brighten the car even more. All of the chrome appears to be present on the inside and out. The chrome on the outside is fair, some are fine, some can use some hand polish or rechromed to make the car even more nicer. Not sure what all even works and doesnt because i have did anything with the car other then whats stated about the battery. The car is a nice 15 footer, the body and paint I was told redone back about 8yrs ago. The body has a few bubble spots that can be redone if u choose or left alone probably for another yr or 2. When I had the car brought here, it I was told the car runs great, but it didnt start when it arrived, so I put in a new battery and she started up nicely and sounded good. Being the car sat for 2yrs, i just drove her straight down the driveway 30 ft and parked her in my garage to await a call from my classic car restorer buddy so he can start on her. Well the car sat since Janurary 2011 in my garage until Summer sometime when i needed to use my garage. The car started right up and i backed her out and let her sit for about a week in my driveway. This car brought a lot of attention when people passed by, i had atleast 7-10 people wanting to rent this car for a wedding and a son wanted to rent this car for his parents 50th wedding anniversary, but money was running thin and i never got a chance to have this car finished for 2011 to rent so i pulled her back into the garage and she is still sitting there. I tried to start her atleast 5-7 times and she wouldnt start, but turns over. So i am really falling on hard times with money and since we adopted a child and the car must go. I recommend whom buys this car to go over the brakes since she sat so long and change fluids and stuff like that to make her road ready. I have yet to drive her on the road and I am sad i have to let her go. I am listing this car AS-IS and NO warrenties and the BUYER MUST pay for shipping but i do have a buddy who may deliver it for you if you like his price on shipping. I have seen on EBAY and other websites these 56 Caddy Limousines restored between $35000-$75000. Just think if you restore her and rent it out, you will easily make your money back that you stick into her and profit alot also. Or just add this RARE 56 Caddy to your Collection because as each year pass, this 56 year old car is getting older, more rarer and more valuable. A buddy of mine has a 54 Cadillac Limousine, he installed a beautiful Cherry wood bar in his car that slides in and sits over the jump seats that fold forward into the drivers seat. He then took a pickup truck sliding window and mounted it nicely with cherry wood trim around it and tinted for a partition window. He did this all and made it to where he can pull it if someone bought it and wanted it left factory looking. I was going to do this with my caddy but with only 39,058 miles, and i believe this may be a factory white color car, and if thats the case i was told by my buddy that they only made very few of them in White. I am also offering this car for the winning bidder to pay me in full via personal check, this check MUST clear bank before the car is released, or cashiers check or Pay Pal. Any questions, please email me at rcdc92306@neo.rr.com, i will try to get back to you asap, I have been working 12hr days to try and get caught up with the bills and with the Adoption fees and working weekends to make ends meet, so please bare with me if i do not answer back right away, thanks. No rust thru that i can see, but again it was just driveway driven and I do not have a lift to check it out completely but laying under it , it looks very solid.
