1951 Mk VI standard steel saloon chassis number b 145 MB. I have had this car for over 25 years. I was always going to restore it but only got the mechanical's done. engine has been completely gone thru and has new bearings both mains and rods, has new rings, valves, guides, and seals. replaced the oil pump gear as per Rolls Royce. the engine has about 40 miles since rebuild. the brakes also have been gone thru and replaced shoes, cylinders, and servo lining. The car stops just as it should, very little pedal pressure. The body needs a complete restoration. it has all of the typical rust thru spots they all have. The rocker panels are bad, the rear wings are rusted, as with the trunk is rusted thru at the very back and lowest point. When i bought this car it was somewhat apart from the scuttle forward. the radiator has been re-cored, the front fenders have been dipped to remove paint but now have surface rust. the gas tank have been sloshed with sealer. The interior is in not to bad of shape. the front seats where your body touch's them the leather will need to be replaced. the back seat is in very good shape, just dirty. the carpets are gone. this would make a excellent restoration project for a father and son team looking to spend time together. buyer to handle shipping arrangement's. fob Seattle. car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. as-is no warranty recommend a visual inspection.
