Vehicle Detail
OK, This is an all wheel drive JAGUAR X TYPE with every option Jaguar has to offer including Navigation, 6 disc changer, side curtain airbags, sunroof, power everything. It has been a good car but, It's time with me is over, it needs some work, I'll list that later. The reason I'm selling it is because it needed too much and I drive too much to give it the time, the novelty of the car has worn off and I opted to get a new car rather than put the money into it. It is a very good looking car inside and out, there is a rust spot behind the passenger door (photo) and inside the drivers door, but you can only see that one when the door is open. I have a friend that does body work and he was going to charge me $300 to fix the spot by the passenger door, but remember, that is a friend of mine, not sure the real price. Like I said it has every option Jag has including the little sprayers for the headlights. WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT: It NEEDS something fixed on the ABS, I put new pads & rotors on it, the ABS light is still on and the brakes go right to the floor, but they still stop the car. Because of the ABS, the cruise will not set. I hit a deer with it, when they fixed it, they didn't line the hood up right, you have to push down on the passenger side a couple times to close it. The O2 sensors before & after the catalytic converter need replacing, which I assume that means the catalytic converter is bad. It needs shocks. If you notice in the pictures, the molding is missing off the passenger door, when I hit the deer, it was mounted too far forward, it will be replaced before you pick it up. Missing the door to one of the headlight sprayers, I have the door if you can figure out how to fix it. I put a new transmission in it 2 years ago. OK, that's the bad of it. If you are a mechanic or know one, you might be able to get a great deal here. Here's the good news, everything else seams to work just fine, I have not had any major problems other than the transmission, which has been replaced. The engine starts every time, never had any electronical problems, the navigation is great, I took it in for all the oil changes, and never filled it with lower than 89 octane, everything someone with no mechanical ability could do to take car of it. I drive over 750 miles a week and decided it was time to move on. I will say this is the only car I've kept for over 4 years because I loved the car. OK, so here it is, It is a really nice car, when it is detailed in the spring it looks like new inside and out (except it's new rust spot). It needs some attention, some before it can be driven (brakes) so you'll have to pick it up on a trailer. I know it's not in mint condition but I know it's worth something. I gave you the most honest and complete description I could. If you're looking for a quick fix, nice car, AWD, with all the toys, here it is. It would be a great car for a beginning driver, AWD, traction control, all the electronics, and has driver, passenger and side curtain airbags so the kid looks cool and stay on the road and the parents know their child is safe. I tried to get the basic photos, if you can tell I didn't even wash it before taking the pics, it looks a lot better clean, and I will have it looking pretty when you pick it up. Email if you have any questions! I may end the auction early because I do have it for sale locally, but like I said, It's the holidays!
