Vehicle Detail

Please email me for full set of photos! Ebay wont let me list the link to them! Due to economic hardship, I am forced to try and sell my 1973 TR6. It is a maroon red, biscuit interior, 4-speed, with close to 106,000 miles. I am also selling the car locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells... Below are a few of the topics about the car. NOTE: I am making an extra effort to represent the car as honestly as I can. I have taken pictures of all the defects on the car, and am posting them here. The last thing I want is for someone to not be happy with their purchase, especially if they buy it sight unseen! Owners: We never ran this car more than 300 miles a year when we owned it. It is kept at our family cabin to be used as a cruiser for a sunny day (which are rare in Seattle!) the owner before us did the same, having kept it in heated storage as well. Though we love the car, its just one of those luxuries that has to go in order to pay the bills. Mechanical: The Engine and clutch run strong! The clutch was replaced with a super clutch when I purchased the car five years ago. Most bushing were also replaced at the same time. Has been serviced to keep it running well, but has sat in storage (heated, covered) the last year, so it wouldn’t hurt to refresh the fluids. I am not a mechanic, but I have noticed a few things when driving the car… The oil has recently begun to leak in the pan (gasket?). Very slow, but none the less… The brakes pull to the right slightly when braking. Not sure if this is a brake pad issue? Has recently begun to do this, so they might need to be replaced. The steering column has some play, not hard to mend. Ignition seems to have been replaced, as it is not stock. The a/c does not work (never bother to fix it being in Seattle and all) Rust: there is very little rust on the frame, as far as I can see. There are signs of rust under the battery box, and under the rear fender. Nothing extreme looks to be just surface rust. Paint/Cosmetic: the previous owner repainted the car in the early 2000’s. The following are only the flaws I can think of, but overall the car is beautiful! Shines like crazy! I just want to lay out all possible details to consider… The trunk has clear coat cracking that is only visible if you get really close to the boot. The dash has cracking/bubbling on the top, and a couple chips near the choke (people push on the corner when pulling the choke, common). Small bubbling on the top of driver/passenger side door. Couple chip spots. Small/shallow dent on passenger side door. One Dent on front bumper as well as back bumper. Small tear on soft top (very clean otherwise!) Previous owner replaced mirrors, and they left two small boltholes exposed. Need to be replaced with original mirrors. Miscellaneous: There is no hardtop included; however the soft top is in good shape. There is a black Tonneau cover included. Here’s an incomplete list of the new… New wheel hubs, new high intensity lights, new clutch, new rear view mirror, new cd player, new locks, new trunk liner, new intake cowling, new three point harnesses, and new kidney pads with speakers.Shipping/Purchase: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hrs of sale, full payment within 3 days. Buyer must arrange for pickup and shipping. If you have any other questions about the car, please ask! I hope the car goes to a home that will love driving it on sunny day as much as we did. Happy Bidding! On Jan-11-12 at 19:16:08 PST, seller added the following information: Added a pic of the underbody, per some requests. let me know if you would like to see anything else!
