Vehicle Detail

1970 cougar 351 c auto one prior owner I have the original owners manual, original bill of sale and all four original keys very complete car and in very good shape. the car has been sitting for about 8 mo. so there are some lil things that need to be done. the engine runs great . it has a new cap, rotor, plugs, wires and points. brakes seem a lil stiff but they work. headlights do not go up and down. body is very straight. tires are good. I had to run a wire from the battery to the coil with a switch in line. for some reason it loses power in the run position. interior is good except for the drivers seat and carpet. . reg. til march 2012. I am guessing the mileage is 145,000 please email with any questions or call 707 272 9059 Dave I got a brake booster from the local junk yard to go with the car. On Jan-03-12 at 19:40:34 PST, seller added the following information: On Jan-05-12 at 09:01:41 PST, seller added the following information: The door sticker is about half gone so i cannot get the complete set of numbers off it but I did put the vin up.On Jan-06-12 at 13:11:08 PST, seller added the following information: I have put more pics. up of the trunk and underneath of the car. the only wiring on the car that has been switched is for the coil, there is a block on the drivers side of four wires all of which go to the coil the red wire you see is the one I ran to the coil to keep power to it in the run position. the wiring under the dash HAS NOT BEEN MESSED WITH!!!. when I got the car it would run in the start position but when you put it back to run it would die sowe figured out that the coil was losing power I am not a wiring guy so i bypassed it. It now runs perfect the new owner will have to go and either fix it right or it works fine the way it is. The switch I put in is just laying on the floor I did not want to drill any holes.
