Please be sure to read this entire description and review all of the provided photos before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 1998 Buick Riviera. The Riviera has been the flagship coupe of the Buick brand since its introduction in as a coupe in 1963. It is also one of my personal favorites. The Riviera was finally laid to rest in 1999, with a very small final year production run of under 2,000 units. 1998 was the last full production year for the Riviera...but still, only 11,000 were made. I would rate the exterior condition of this Riviera to be in EXCELLENT condition. The emrald green finish looks great from any angle and has a mile deep shine. One would be hard pressed to find any noteworthy blemishes on the exterior of this Buick. Pride in ownership definitely shows throughout this Riviera. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The chrome wheels have a great finish to them. The tires are in average condition. Please review all of the photos closely. This is one of the cleanest Riviera's I have ever owned. I would rate the interior of this Riviera to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The carpets are clean and show minimal wear. The drivers door panel is missing one of the little screws that hold the side tight but is otherwise clean and in good condition. The leather interior is in near flawless condition. The headliner is clean. This is a very well optioned Riviera. Both front seats are power operated and heated for optimal comfort. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent passenger temperature control. The stereo is the original Buick Concert Sound with CD that sounds excellent. Controls for both the audio and climate control systems are also on the steering wheel. This Riviera is also equipped with HomeLink integrated garage door openers. Once seated in the plush leather drivers seat, the real purpose of this car becomes apparent. The dash wraps around you with sweeping angles and surrounds you with all needed controls literally at your finger tips. This car is all about the driver and your total comfort and relaxation. The original Buick remote entry/security system is fully operational. The trunk is spacious and clean. They're not making cars like this anymore. Mechanically, this Riviera appears to be in good running condition. The 3.8L Supercharged V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any smoke or leaks coming from this engine. During my road test, this Buick kept a cool operating temperature and behaved very well. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes do an excellent job of stopping this big coupe, too. Thanks to the 240hp supercharged V6, accelleration is effortless. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, this luxury coupe glides down the road with total composure. There is a check engine light on and the code is a cam position sensor fault. I've done some research and several things can cause this...none of which are very serious. The car runs and drives as it should and makes tons of power when you crack it open. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check(cashiers or personal), money order will be subject to verification of fundss by my bank. The vehilce will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auctions end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Fees:
An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Buyer is responsible for their own taxes, tags and registration fees. 30 day transport tags are available through PennDOT to out of state buyers for $35.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
