Vehicle Detail
Someone asked for current pictures these pictures are from the first week in December , 2011 the car went into storage Dec 14th. This vehicle was shipped from Napoli, Italy where it spent it's entire life garaged. It had some work done on the upholstery a few years ago and was repainted, the paint has some cracking, on a few panels reason unknown, the previous owner paid a lot but did not get a great paint job. To restore the paint would require painting a few panels 90% of the car looks great. From 5 ft the car looks flawless upond close observation the spots stand out. If you just want to collect it is fine as is if you want perfection you will need to paint the rear quarter, small panel and another small area. I have just recently put a new battery , new roof cover and a new muffler. I was told that most of this car is original and not an American restore, the restoration was done in Italy other than the roof, muffler and battery. This is the Lusso version with carpeting and a few nice extras. The car starts and runs great, and has little to no rust, very solid vehicle, plenty of keys and I hate to say it it is a head turner I get more looks and comments , people have frequently asked to take picures of it. Jennifer Lopez even called and asked me to take her out for a ride in my 500 "Not Really" Vehicle is in in overall great condition, a local dealer offered $6,000 to trade it with MD 6% tax credit my net will be $6,360, it either sells or gets traded. I have it in storage and can easily be accessed to show to a serious buyer, it is indoors under cover, out of the weather. Vehicle comes with a box of spare parts like point, caps , rotors, filters and brake pads, I just did a tune up minus the plugs and it runs nice 9.5 out of 10 , it really does need the points to be exactly spaced to run perfectly, I did not have the skill or knowledge on setting the points. I am also including a custom cover that sells from covers. com for $180, the car is titled in Maryland. It is currently in my name with Historic Tags and does have a Maryland title ready for transfer. Insurance for a Historic full coverage was only $117 a year, it's not expensive to keep just for a toy. Best of all you don't need a lot of space in a garage to store it 9X5 you can buy a shed for it :) I can deliver the vehicle on a trailer up to 300 miles $1.50 a mile + tolls.
