Here is my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix that was hit while parked. I'm the second owner of this car. I bought it from my neighbor down the street. This was NOT a moving accident. So the damage is not as bad as you would think. But it's got a lot of miles on it. So I choose not to fix it. If it doesn't sell on E-Bay or locally, then I'm going to scrap it. Before it got hit only the "service engine" light was on. Now the "ABS" and the "TRAC" lights are on. What this means is the anti lock brakes and the traction control are now not working. The body shop thinks it may be just the sensors BUT THEY COULD NOT CONFIRM THIS. They are not sure if there is real damage to the ABS and Traction controll equipment or just the sensors. I did drive this home after it got hit, about 70 miles. It drove straight and just as good as it did before it got hit. With as many miles as there is on this car it runs and drives great. There are no leaks and it does not burn oil. It even got about 24-25 miles to the gallon on the highway using regular gas. When I bought this car I replaced the radiator and the hoses. I replaced the plugs and the wires. The transmission was replaced at about 120000 miles by the first owner. And this summer I had the transmission fluid flushed. There are a lot of good parts on this car. All 4 doors are in great shape, the fenders are ok, but the front ones would need to be bent back into shape. All the glass is good too.
