For Sale is my 1964 Volkswagen Bus. Hoping to find a good home and someone who will enjoy this great bus. I started a restoration on it but do not have the time to complete it due to the amount of time I'm having to spend at work, and I don't want to see this great bus turn into an unfinished project. The Good: A new 1600 cc motor with less than 500 miles on it. Just starting to get broken in: See picLittle to no rust. Only very minor surface rust. Floor pans and rocker and other typical areas of rust common to buses is absent in this one.The paint is and body are in great shape. Not show room perfect, but certainly the makings of show room possibilities if given to a good paint and body man. No dents. All other modifications have been been made (change of brakes and axles) except the installation of the kit. The kit lowered the bus as you'll see in the pics.The windshield wipers need new transmissionsThe rear engine lid needs the hinges to hold up the lidThe rear hatch needs the hinge to hold it up the doorThe seats need to be redone. They are worn and is one part of the bus that hasn't been touched. I feel the wiring needs to be redone although I haven't experienced any issues.The dash was slightly modified by someone else to fit a stereo I can't think of anything else at the moment. Part of the auction is 2 extra tires and wheels. Payment and Terms and Shipping: Half down is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Should you back out for any reason, I will refund your deposit less 10% to cover my time and inconvenience to relist and the general hassle of having an auction not completed. The balance is due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Once payment is received in full, I will overnight the title to you. I will also help you deliver the bus if you need to ship it. I will take it to a local transporter and work with you anyway I can. I can also keep the bus for as long as you need to either pick it up or ship it. There's no time constraint for holding it for you on my end. I accept all major credit cards, checks (give 10 days to clear), cashiers check or other guaranteed funds. On Dec-28-11 at 12:44:19 PST, seller added the following information: Also included is a partial roll (about 1/2 to 3/4) of the interior vinyl as seen around the tire well behind the front seats, some extra weather stripping and a cover that will fit the bus and has access to the front doors in case you need to get inside while it's under cover (that alone is about $300.00).
