2001 Ford Ranger Pickup. White with gray interior, regular cab. This Ranger has never been wrecked, abused or molested in any way. The body is very straight having only one dent (baseball size) below the right taillight. With the exception of a few paint chips here and there which would be expected on a vehicle of this age the paint looks very good. The interior has a couple dime size holes in the driver seat but other than that looks very good. The truck is powered by a 2.5L 4 cylinder engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The truck has high miles (322,663) due to an 80 mile per day round trip commute on the interstate for 10 years. Over the last 6 months over $1,000 has been spent on 4 brand new Firestone Destination A/T tires, new timing belt, new water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, anti freeze and new front calipers, rotors and pads. This truck has always been seviced regularly and well maintained. Comes with a very nice Rugged brand over the top bed liner and tailgate cover which has had very little use. The truck has the 7 spoke chrome styled wheels. The bad is the truck is currently not running due to what is believed a blown head gasket, but I have no professional documentation to verify that. While being driven, a puff of white smoke came out of the exhaust and the truck died and now there is water in the oil. If you are a mechanic, or have a good 2.5L engine ready to go, with a little work this Ranger could once again be a nice little truck or would be a great candidate for a V8 conversion and build a street rod. There is no battery included with the truck. The winning bidder will need to haul or tow it because is not drivable. I have tried to describe this Ranger to the best of my ability but have probably missed something that you need to know, if so just ask. If you are close enough to inspect the truck in person before the end of the auction again just ask and arrangements will be made. Vehicle comes with a good Missouri title.
