1999 BMW K-Series

1999 BMW K1200LT Ikon I need the money more than I need to hang on to this bike. My loss is your gain. She has been garaged her entire life, except when she's been out on the road with me. She has a decent enough front tire, and the back tire and front brake pads are band new. But she has an oil leak, and her clutch is starting to slip. Still, considering her age and mileage, she still has retained her legendary trademark BMW smoothness. I've only ever had her serviced by Boca Cycle; Tom and Richard are certified motorcycle geniuses. The windshield is also relatively new, having been replaced in 2008 by the State of Florida Turnpike Operations. As a historical footnote, me and my K1200LT were featured in this fascinating news story. In fact, if you go to http://www.sunpass.com, and follow the links to purchase a SunPass Mini, you'll see that they explicitly state that they are "Not designed for use on motorcycles." Yup. That was me. And this is the bike whose windshield they had to eat because they messed up, which is what prompted that message in the first place. The bike has 130,000 mikes on her. The pictures here are a bit old; the wheels are dirtier now, and she generally needs a bath. A little elbow grease will clean her right up. She cleans up nice. The GPS receiver is not included, but the shelf is. I have a clean, non-salvage title in-hand and I've priced her super low because I need to sell her quickly.
