The white hardtop received fresh paint. The paint on the body is approx a year old, and still shows very well. The engine compartment, trunk, dash, and package tray have all been painted the same exterior paint color. Rare original Studebaker radio is in working condition. A/C blows cold. This car drives great and gets a thumbs up everywhere it goes, it’s a lot of fun to see the reaction it gets. There are no known mechanical issues, there are no repairs needed that I know of, the car is ready to drive, in fact it drives like a dream. The rear windows roll up and down good, the only negative is the driver and passenger windows only seem to work when the window is halfway, so you have to use your free hand to pull it up the rest of the way. The left door sticks out a bit (1/4” or so) but the striker may need to be adjusted? Chrome and trim is in very good condition, with very minimal wear or pitting to be found anywhere. This Studebaker has a lot of personality and has been well taken care of, garage kept. The brakes stop the car well. NEW carpet sill plates are on order, they have not arrived yet, those will be installed once they arrive. Stevens lengthened the car body, especially at the rear, and modernized the interior. In addition to the new styling, Studebaker joined the bucket-seats-and-console craze of the early 1960s with the introduction of the Daytona. In addition to the new styling, Studebaker joined the bucket-seats-and-console craze of the early 1960s with the introduction of the Daytona. In the same way that the Cruiser had become the top-of-the-line four-door for 1961, the new Daytona replaced the Regal as the top-trim convertible and hardtop, although Regal versions of these body styles remained available.

The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
