Up for auction at a very low Reserve is a very Rare M-Code 1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible, came from the Factory with a 351W 4 Brl with 290 Horsepower, most of these Cougars were 2 Brl cars with 250 Horsepower, The engine runs great and has been rebuilt at some time but I do not have any receipts to verify when, seems to have been restored about 5 years ago, the paint is a 8 out of 10 for a driver, all panels are straight with no signs of any accidents, All panels seem Original with No panel replacement. Overall could be a great driver with little work. The interior seems to be all original, could use a new carpet, seat covers are real nice for being original with only drivers seat needing restored, the power convertible top also seems to be all Original and looks good and does not have any tears, goes up and down fine, Rim-blow wheel is in good condition with No cracks but will need a new switch, has power disc front brakes and Power steering, also has A/C which is all hooked up, needs heater core and cosmetics, The Trunk pans are perfect (see pictures), with No rust even around drain holes are very nice. Frame rails are all very solid, shock towers and all inner fender aprons are real nice with no rust issues. the magnum 500 wheels are Original but need to be cleaned up and also need the center caps, Tires are New, please only serious bidders, a $1000 Non-Refundable deposit is due as soon as auction ends through Paypal, I can help with shipping anywhere in the US at buyers expense, Good luck Bidding!!
