They were the cars that started the Pony Car craze and have been highly desirable since they were produced. Many have been lost to rust and accidents over time. Years of collectability have seen these cars exported to other countries like no other car. The remaining fastbacks are climbing higher and higher in value and due to the weak US Dollar export rates are higher than we have ever seen.This car runs and drives. It has only seen limited use with us and we recommend a thorough inspection of all components prior to any dedicated street use or long drives. We are selling this one as a project!This Pony has the usual bumps & bruises of a 45 year old car. There is very repairable rust in each quarter in the normal spots. The lower quarters and drop offs look fairly good. The doors have the normal rust, with new doors being produced it really doesn't pay to repair the old ones. The floors have rust at the front toe boards, the rest of the pans appear to be good from the undercarriage pics. The frame rails are all in good condition.The 200 runs fine, it was in storage for some time and runs better every time we drive it. The 4 speed is from a 67 Mustang 289 and is the heavy duty toploader with Hurst Linkage. We just replaced the mastery cylinder and all 4 wheel cylinders.The interior is complete but is showing its age. These are one of the cheapest and easiest to restore of any car though. Interior kits start around $450 and include seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, door panels and more. This is a running and driving Fastback for under $12k!
