Vehicle Detail
Thanks for looking, I am selling my 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport, Right hand Drive. I purchased this jeep brand new in 2006 after my husband/mechanic was diagnosed with MS and no longer was able to help me with the used vehicles. Maintenance has been performed faithfully. Oil - Penzoil changed every 2500 miles. Spare tire is no good, it has been plugged numerous times. Other tires on Jeep are fair. If it were me, I would replace them before snow flies, as I did every year just for added traction. There are some scratches on the drivers side door, a cig. burn on the drivers seat, back seat has been removed for the mail route and the dogs chewed it up, its still usable just not very comfy as some of the stuffing is missing. I put a cover on it and used it when I had to have a rider. It will be included. The back bumper has a place that is pulled out a bit from being pulled from a snow bank. This Jeep has been driven daily on a rural mail route, about 100 miles a day, 5 days a week. Approximately 35 miles of those were gravel roads, I have cleaned it up best I could but have not detailed it. I have purchased another new Jeep therefore will be selling this one. If there is anything else, please ask, I will try to answer best I can. On Dec-03-11 at 20:04:02 PST, seller added the following information: Need to add: the air conditioner has had a small leak in it for a few years now, I have taken it in to have it serviced but they couldn't find a leak. They put it under a pressure test and said it hold pressure, so they filled it with freon. However after awhile it will not get cold again, so I have just put a can of freon in it myself when needed. Probably about 3 cans in a summer time. Also there is a something broke on the front passenger side, I think it is a sway bar? I apologize for not knowing these terms but its a bar that goes across the front of the jeep, the bar itself is just fine, but it then hooks into a small rubber boot joint type thingy, thats where it is broke. I have had to replace this before, maybe stabilizer arm? Not sure what it is called. On Dec-06-11 at 14:12:35 PST, seller added the following information: Ok I have taken some more pictures, to show you that part that is broken. Hope this clears that up. Still not sure what its called but hopefully you can tell by the picture. Also need to note that I have failed to mention there is a crack in windshield on the passenger side top, I hope you can see that from the picture as well. This has been this way for awhile but I totally forgot. Also there is some black paint off the top near the drivers side windshield, I done this with a power washer when it was only about a month old. There is also a scratch on the passenger side of the hood, its about a foot long, just scratched the paint, not the metal. The rims do have some rust spots. I apologize you guys are having to deal with a women when it comes to purchasing this vehicle but I am trying my best to describe everything in detail. Oh yea, and to clarify the reason I am selling is because my husband/mechanic is now in a wheelchair and unable to maintain the vehicle so I upgraded for the warranty. Again, this is a used Jeep that has clearly been used to deliver the mail in a rural setting that I will be selling with no warranty, as is. Please feel free to ask questions.
