***1966 International Scout 800*** Up for auction is a 1966 International Scout 800 4x4 with 96095 origional miles. this is a nice piece of american history. scout had a frame off restoration, all undercarriage has been painted gloss black with automotive grade paint. has the origional 196 4 cyclinder with 4 speed transmission. factory carb was just rebuilt. drivetrain has not been overhauled, runs good, trans strong. has origional dana axles. just had the body repainted with 96 saab silver metallic paint with 3 layers of clearcoat and new diamond plate floorboards placed, scout has 4 inck suspension lift with upgraded shock towers installed. I was restoring this to be a nice daily driver with my son (who has lost interest). I have a nice soft top with all the necessary hardware. 35 bf goodrich tires.. SCOUT IS BASICALLY RUST FREE. I have all the origional lights, grill, and hardware which was removed for painting. scout is ready for new interior and whatever mods to the drivetrain the new owner wants to make.
