This car belonged to my daughter. After she moved to college, the car was taken off the road about three years ago and parked in a garage. The car has been sitting there ever since. The car interior is in great condition for its age and all the electronics function properly. (All windows, sunroof, etc... work perfectly) The exterior is in fairly good condition except the slight discoloration on the driver's side door shown in the pictures below. Driver side Fender has been repainted. Front Grill has little rust on it but you can replace it for less than 30$. About a month ago, I decided to put the car back on the road since my daughter was going to be back soon. This proved to be challenging. I replaced the following parts myself in my garage before test driving the car: New break pad set 179.99 (new rotors and pads) New water pump 159.99 New steering rack 335.99 New tires 650.00 Unfortunely, after changing all these parts, the transmission doesn't shift past second gear. Fixing the transmission is beyond my abilities.However, no transmission codes are lit. Also, these lights are lit on the dashboard: Check engine light came on shortly after with error code: P0305 (I researched it and it came up as cylinder 5 misfire, could be a very simple fix as a park plug wire or a plug itself) Car sensor for the breaks is on (breaks need to be bled) and ABS light is on but the breaks function perfectly. I do not have time to deal with fixing the car back to prefect working conditon but If you are a mechanic or you know a mechanic this car is perfect for you.
