Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so that I can describe how it looks, runs and drives as accurately as possible. We recommend that each potential bidder come see and drive a vehicle in person before bidding. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. Up for a NO RESERVE auciton today is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of my favorite vehicles. I have sold more of these than I could ever count. In my opinion, the Grand Cherokee offers the absolute best value in a used SUV. This example is finished in white and gold over black interior. I would rate the exterior condition of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE condition for its age and miles. A buyer of a 15 year old vehicle should expect various scratches and small dents from normal use. I did not see any major damage present on this unit. The white paint has a good shine and looks good from any angle. I also did not see any notable rust on the body of this vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. The Limited Edition alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to also be in AVERAGE condition for its age and miles. The door panels are all still in tact but do show minor wear associated with age. The carpets show well for the age of the vehicle but the mats are worn. The leather seats appear to be in good condition throughout. The headliner is starting to sag a bit which is normal for an older Jeep. Being a Limited, this model is very well equipped. Both front seats are power operated and heated in addition to dual memory settings for the drivers seat. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof are all working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The stereo is the original Infinity Gold Premium audio which appears to be working properly. Aside from some scratches in the tint, there really isn't much to complain about. For someone with a little more time than I have, a good cleaning would do absolute wonders for the interior...it's all I can do to keep up with as many cars as I sell. I don't have time to detail them, too. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running condition. The workhorse 4.0L strait six starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any smoke or leaks coming from this vehicle. During my road test, this Jeep displayed good road manners. The front end (along with the rest of the suspension) is pretty tight. The steering is light and responsive. The brakes stop this truck well. The engine keeps great oil pressure and holds a steady coolant temperature. There were no warning lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. This Grand Cherokee is equipped with Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD. Highway cruising is nice and easy. When I got this Jeep, the front end was really sloppy. I had the front link bar replaced because the bushings were shot. I did not have the truck aligned afterwards. It drives fine but an alignment is recommended for long term use. Also, while it was up in the air, my mechanic noticed that the one alxe boot was bad so I had him replace the right front axle, too. Up for a NO RESERVE auciton today is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of my favorite vehicles. I have sold more of these than I could ever count.
