This car is re-listed because the high bidder became suddenly sick and could not buy it. This is my 1960 Pontiac Sport Sedan. I have too many cars and I will never give this one the attention it deserves so I am selling it at no reserve. I have a clear NJ title in my name. I bought this from a guy who had it for about a year and he worked on it while driving it. He got it from the original owner's garage in PA. It runs and drives but this is a project car. This must be towed home. This is a very straight and original car. All of the numbers match. This car was repainted in the 90s the original color (Newport Blue). The top was originally Ivory. There are no leaks or drips from underneath. The interior is original and in poor shape. The seats need re-covering. The door panels are ripped in places. See the pictures. Also the headliner has been removed. There is a poorly fitting seat cover on the front seat. It was put on to cover the ripped and frayed original. The dash is very nice. The instruments all work. There was a tachometer professionally installed many years ago that works as well. The original AM radio turns on but I only hear some static. A couple of parts of the floor feel soft and there is a patch in the trunk. See the pictures. The engine is a 389 with a 2bbl carburetor and it runs strong. The transmission is a hydramatic and shifts well. The brakes work great and some of the lines have been recently replaced. There is a slight exhaust leak at or near the manifold but the exhaust pipes all look fairly new. I have all of the trim and moldings except for the "Catalina" nameplate for the left fender. I am also missing 1 letter from the hood and 1 from the trunk. I have the original owners manual and paperwork with notes and dates of work and maintenance performed. Please look carefully at all of the pictures to see the condition of this car. I consider it a mostly solid and very straight original that would be an excellent project.
