S Equipment Option Group 43 Light Metal Wheels (Fuchs, 6" & 7") Front & Rear Stabilizer Bars Rear Spoiler Further documentation of Factory Options provided, through email, from Jurgen Barth: H43 (Unkown) 400 (Pressure Cast Wheels) 404 (Stabilizer Bars, 15mm) 406 (Unkown) 473 (Front & Rear Spoilers) Additional Factory Options Include: Power Windows Sun Roof S Factory Racaro Racing Sport Seats S Brakes Koni Racing Shocks Rear Window Heater During the 1973 international racing season Brumos Porsche owner, Peter Gregg and Co-Driver, Hurley Haywood won both coveted endurance sports car races, the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, overall. It was during that season the Peter Gregg and then wife, Deborah utilized this very 911. The car was sold from Brumos Porsche to Ed Rivers. Rivers inmeaditaly had the car converted for racing in SCCA. Among the modifications performed were the 2.7 liter modified racing heads and pistons, 906 cams, Weber Carbs and fender flairs, front & rear. Rivers raced the car through the mid 1970's, then sold the car to his race mechanic, Phil Odell. It was Odell that removed the Sportomatic and installed the 901, 5 speed ultra close ratio racing transaxle, the short shift kit, steel braded brake lines, etc and raced the car in SCCA, as well. There is further documentation from subsequint owners of every mechanical repair, part change, service and restoration performed on this car, including mileage during those changes. Every owner is recorded and many with contact information, as well. The car is as specified by Brumos Porsche in 1973, minus the following changes; Original engine casing remains in the car, however the racing modifications to the engine remain in the car today. The present 5 speed close ratio transaxle, presently in the car, replaced the original Sportomatic. The fuel injection was replaced with the racing Weber Carbs, that are present in the car. The original Racaro Sport Seats are in the car, however, the green leather was replaced with the present upholstery. The car runs, brakes and handles wonderfully! The body is in fine condition, minus a tiny dimple in the hood (about the size of a Farber pencil eraser) and a very few paint chips. The interior is also in great condition, for the exception of a wear spot on the drivers seat. The sun roof even works! Please let me know if you have questions; (904) 432 7026.
