We recommend that each potential bidder come see and drive a vehicle in person before bidding. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please read this entire description, including reviewing all photos as well as my terms and conditions, before bidding. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1994 Saturn SC1. Saturns are pretty basic cars but seem to be very reliable and easy to own. I would rate the exterior condition of this one to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for its age and miles. The dark blue paint shows very well for the age of the vehicle. A buyer of a vehicle of this age should expect reasonable wear but I could not find any noteworthy flaws on the finish of this car. The tires have good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. I would rate the interior of this SC1 to be in AVERAGE condition. The seats are clean and show very well for their age. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well, too. The headliner has been removed due to sagging, which is a common Saturn issue. A plastic piece of the interior down by the shifter is broken. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The radio is original to the car and still sounds good. Even the original owners manual is included. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good running condition. In fact, I have personally driven this Saturn to Baltimore and back twice in addition to driving it around town for several days prior to listing it on eBay. Before that, my partner took it to upstate NY and back with no issues. The 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks or smoke coming from this car. The suspension is nice and tight. The steering is light and responsive as it should be. The brakes work well. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts well. Out on the highway, this little Saturn drives much better than I expected. Cruising is nice and easy with no vibrations or pulling. This coupe was traded at my lot on a newer Saturn sedan...which means the old owner was happy enough with it to buy another Saturn. As with many older Saturns, the odometer has stopped working. It currently reads 127,xxx miles and has not worked for at least 3 months according to the inspection stickers. For this reason, this Saturn will be sold "not actual miles". It's funny...the odometer didn't work on the sedan that this was traded in for either. Gotta love old Saturns... Please bid with confidence. This little Saturn runs and drives like a top.
