This auction is for my 1985 Jaguar XJ 6. I just bought my own business. So first, I need the cash. Second, I need the space for inventory. Third, I don't have time to work on it now. It runs and drives around the yard. It does have 4 brand new tires and a new battery. I replaced the transmission cable so it will shift. I left the console open as proof that it was done. The car definately needs a good tune up. It also needs brake work. I could see brake fluid dripping out of the back end, but I did not look to see if it was something loose, a hole in a line or what was causing it. There is minor surface rust in several areas of the body. The passenger side rear fender is rotted, the inner fender is fine, just the outer part needs replaced. There is also a fairly large dent in the drivers side rear fender. The interior is completely shot. THE FOLLOWING PARTS ARE NEW THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR: Dash pad, headliner material, door gaskets, and door rubbers. The value of these parts is approximately $600.00 THE FOLLOWING ARE GOOD USED PARTS THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR: Dash with some gauges, glove box door, information station with dash surround, and console switches and metal plate. The photos of the bottom didn't turn out too good, but I think you will get the idea that it is clean and doesn't have the rust that these cars typically have. I took a couple of the surface rust and the bubbled rust that isn't through the paint yet. There are other areas than the ones pictured, the ones shown are the worst. The photo of the Passenger side fender didn't show well. PAYPAL IS USED FOR THE DEPOSIT ONLY DO NOT PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT WITH PAYPAL. THE FEES ARE ENTIRELY TOO HIGH. Please do not ask me to ship this car. You want it shipped, it's simple. Show up here, pay me in cash, and do the title transfer, then arrange the shipping. Otherwise, come and pick it up. I will CONSIDER delivering it for a fee. It will not be cheap, with the price of gas, it will be at least $3.00 per loaded mile. The car must be paid for and picked up within 14 days of the end of the auction. Final payment is to be cash. I will NOT accept a cashiers check, personal check, or a money order. I also do not accept wire transfers. The notary I use is very flexable with her hours, so title transfer is not a problem.
