This is a 1981 VW English model RIGHT HAND DRIVE VW Kamper Ci. I have all the original paper work from the time it was built in Hanover ,Germany. It then went to England for the next 11 years. The Kamper showed up at a Nisson Dealer ship in Portland Oregon. It was sold there to the second owner. He kept it for the next 13 years and it was stored for most of that time. It was then sold to the guy I bought it from and he only had it two years. I bought it and the milage has been verified by the second owner at just over 50,625 actual miles. It is RUST FREE. (ZERO RUST) Went to Oregon and brought it too Northern California and replaced the master cylinder, clutch master, clutch slave cylinder, front rotors, rear wheel cylinders pads and shoes all around. So the brakes are all new . New tires were installed with 8 ply tires all around. The upholstery was replaced by one of the formost custom upholsteries in the area . The Pop-Up top was totally rebuilt with over 100 hours going into making it all new. All new parts were installed including new lifting rams. The engine was checked out and it is equiped with dual carburetors and electronic Ignition. I installed new push rod seals and re-set the hydralic valves lifters. It has NO smog equipment on it ...It has two new batteries..one for starting and one for the house ..it is also equiped with solar panels on the pop up top and a solar controller . It has the usual two burner stove and sink with an electric water pump . . The Electrolux fridge was down to 27 degrees a few days before I did a shake down cruise of 1500 miles down in Mexico .I adveraged 21 mile per gallon on the trip .Everything works and looks excellant . even the clock and the dome lights work .It has the Original front floor mats and they are like new also. All the glass and rubbers are near perfect . new lifting rams for the rear hatch were installed .NO RUST anwhere ...Kenwood Cd.the vin # is wv2zzz25zch021129.I can pick you up from the airport and you can drive it home.
