Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction and a very reasonable reserve is a 1967 Mercury Cougar Big-Block 390 4V with only 130,000 Original 1-owner miles, have all documentation since new including Bill of Sale, warranty card, owners manual and also Original build sheet in excellent condition. I also have a deluxe Marti-Report verifying Original owners Bill of Sale to be the same Dealership. A very Rare color combination of Cinnamon Mist ( Paint code V ) with a very nice Saddle Interior (Code 2F). The Exterior is perfectly straight and looks as good as when New, doors do not sag like most and shut with ease. All Original body panels with No patches that I can see, for sure not the floor pans or trunk pans which usually are the first to replace, they are also Rust-Free and look New. The Carpet and headliner are all Original with no tears, the original center console is very nice, the Original door panels are perfect, The original AM radio still present and works great but of course you may want to replace, the dash is a bit warped like most but could to be restored. overall a very clean and presentable interior. The 390 4V is Oiginal to the car and has just been fully detailed and is very clean, the inner fender aprons/shock towers also with No rust issues. The Original C-6 Automatic shifts great with No known mechanical issues, the rear is the 3.00 Standard axle Ratio (code-1) and is great for highway cruising. The Undercarriage is very dry and Rust-Free (pictures), torque boxes/frame rails look great with no issues. Originally came with hubcaps and white Rayon sidewall Tires, I will deduct $200 from final bid if you would like to install the Original wheels and I will just keep the wheels on the car which are 68-69 styled steel wheels. Also needs 2 wheellip moldings for the rear, I will include a new set if reserve is met. This was the first year for the Mercury Cougar and was "Car of the Year", only having a couple of Engines to choose from, one being the smaller block 289 and the other was the Big Block 390 4V, only making 5,967 of them, and I can guarantee there are only a handful in this condition. Please ask questions before placing any bids, would like to sell this auction due to storage although will be in my garage until picked-up. All Original Documents will only be shown to the winning bidder Only due to privacy matters of the Original owner, although I will show them before any payment is made, a $1000 Non Refundable Deposit is due immedietely at auctions end and the balance due within a week in a cashiers check or Cash if picking up, Overseas welcome but please email first before bidding, Only serious bidders please, Good luck!!!On Dec-03-11 at 21:06:58 PST, seller added the following information: I also wanted to offer the high bidder first shot at a set of styled steel wheels/tires for the 67 Cougar for $1100 plus the wheels on the Cougar now, $1,550 Brand new a few months ago and would look really nice on this Cougar, I can install 2 rims on one side of the car and take some pictures before you decide, Thanks for all the Interest!!
