Im going to make this description as quick and easy as possible. Please know that Ive owned thousands of bikes, and have a high Ebay seller status so you can trust in my description. This bike has 8600 original miles. It has the potential to be one heck of a nice original bike. I didnt even do a detail and cleanup, this is how I got it. It was parked for a long time but the owner started and took it out once or twice a year to keep it in shape. It fires up and runs great, but will need a few things. Major issue is both the pipes on the left side are rotted out from sitting. This bike will never run right until you replace them (will pop and cough and is not good for the motor in this condition) . Thats the only major issue to do with running condition. Otherwise, install some fresh plugs,oil, and gas (gas is from this spring) and you should be all set. Front tire is excellent, rear is at about 30%. Right side cover bottom tab is cracked off, left has a cracked on as well. Few spots of clear on the tank are whited, but otherwise the tank is very nice , and the inside is clean. Guages are mint, all chrome is either nice, or needs a little polish. Seat has two small repair spots. I do have the other side cover badge, it is missing the tabs so it will need to be glued on. Normally when I get a bike in this condition with such low miles, I will spend a few hundred bucks and put a couple dozen hours in it to bring it up to specs. However, I need extra Christmas cash and have too many projects and not enough time. One thing I can guarantee you is, this bike has extreme potential, and there are no hidden issues or problems no stated. Ive owned thousands of bikes, so please trust my opinion and my Ebay seller status. I have put about 10 miles on this bike to check everything out, and it is rock solid. If your familiar with the hobby, then youll understand me when I say this one is prime restoration material. If your new to the hobby, then let me tell you that you cant go wrong starting with this bike for your first project. It is rare, one year/one color only, and gettin harder to find as each day passes. I better stop typing now, because Ill talk myself out of selling it lol ! Comes with a clear title.
