What we have here is a 1993 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado Sport pickup. Short bed Fleetside. 350 engine, automatic transmission. Power steering, brakes, windows and locks. A/C worked when charged last summer, has now leaked down, I have no idea if it can be recharged again. Has a nice Glasstech fiberglass cowl hood. Headers, Edelbrock intake, brand new alternator and battery. Cat back dual exhaust, sounds great. Recent intake gaskets and brand new distributor. 2000 miles on major front brakes including calipers, pads, rotors and wheel bearings, over $500 on parts. Lowered 2 inches in front, 4 in back. Done correctly with drop spindles and longer shackles. CD player. Rhino lined bed when new. Truck has the usual rust these trucks get, above the wheelwells and the cab corners. Bottom of doors starting also. Overall this is still a good truck, always starts and I would drive it anywhere. In the family for 10 years, always had synthetic oils throughout. Always taken care of, I would not have spent all the money on brakes if I knew I was going to sell it, but we just don't use it anymore. Only issues I know of are the temp gauge doesn't work ( just started), there is a very slight transmission leak (seems to be the pan gasket, leaves a very small spot when parked for a while), the rust, and the A/C leaking down. The bed is still solid, as is the floor of the cab. Otherwise it starts on the coldest days, runs, drives and shifts just fine. This would be a perfect first car for someone, it still looks, drives and sounds great. Can be seen in Geneva, Il. No long test drives, plates are expired, but we can drive around the neighborhood.
