On a CarFax report is shows as a very minor incident. The dealer I bought the van from said the original owner ran into a dog. CarFax matches this story.On Nov-28-11 at 12:33:36 PST, seller added the following information: My Astro van is an LS model, not LT. I'm not sure if the VIN number defaulted to indicate LT or if I selected LT vs. LS. Just to be clear, this van is not an LT.On Nov-28-11 at 20:42:53 PST, seller added the following information: Several people have contacted me regarding the emissions status on the van. Last year the battery went dead on the van. I had two not ready emissions codes do to the dead battery. The van needed to be driven 500 miles before these codes would clear up. I drove the van from New Hampshire to Virginia. I have had the van emissions tested and it now passes. Since the van is registered in New Hampshire I would need to drive the van back to New Hampshire to get the CarFax to show that the van passes. If the auction ends without a winner, I plan to drive the van back to New Hampshire, have the emissions re-tested and re-list the van in New England.On Nov-30-11 at 08:35:42 PST, seller added the following information: Update on the emissions: Several Maryland and Virginia folks have contacted me about the emissions on the Astro van. I talked with the MVA for both states today. They have informed me that I can have the van emission tested in Maryland and Virginia. I plan do have the tests done before the auction ends, so those potential buyers/bidders can feel good about the van's emsissions status. I will post the results to this auction as soon as possible. The van passed the emissions tests in both States. I have the emissions certificates from both States and will make sure the winning bidder receives these documents.
