1965 Honda CB

1965 Honda CB77 Superhawk racer. Mileage unknown. NOS speedometer. This bike runs very well. It is not a streetable bike currently. As this is a WSMC and AHRMA race bike there is no kick starter lever or starter motor. It is for bump start or roller starter. A starter motor or kick start lever could be added but does not come with this bike. Factory Honda YB racing parts on this bike include: Factory Honda aluminum rear fender with race number plates and mount brackets. Factory Honda YB clip on handlebar Factory Honda YB front number plate with mount brackets. Factory YB hydraulic steering damper and mount rod. Factory Honda YB open meggaphones. Not honda factory but top of the line racing rear shocks. Dunlop KR series racing tires with lots of tread depth left. This bike comes with a solo racing seat however this seat is aftermarket and as with every aftermarket seat I have seen it fits poorly. Engine runs excellently but has not been run or raced in the last three years. Engine has been race built with YB valve springs, race ignition (no battery needed), high compression. Not sure if the cams are YB or Harmon Collins but the engine revs really well and makes way more power than my stock street Superhawk. This bike handles very well. It has never been crashed while I have had it and it appears to have never been down before. The frame is very straight. Most fasteners have been safety wire drilled as per AHRMA rules. There is no center stand. The wheel chock in the pictures does not go with the bike. You will need to get a race stand or a center stand or side stand yourself. If I have a spare center stand here I will include it at no extra charge but I cant promise I have one yet. Again this is not a street bike. It is a very nice race bike with a lot of very expensive Honda race parts on it. It could be restored to street condition but it is not currently. It is being offered with a bill of sale. There is no title for this bike as it has been out of the DMV system for years. This bike has been in a museum for the last three years and has not been started so the buyer will need to go throut the bike completely including the usual service such as carb cleaning and oil change to prepare for running or racing. Engine number is: CB77E-1002581 Frame number is under heavy powedercoat and is difficult to read accurately. It appears to read CB77-10026?? Do not rely on this number being accurate. I will palletize and assist with shipping anywhere in the USA but all costs are the buyers responsability. I can deliver to some area in California.
