Vehicle Detail

I have a 1971 Chevrolet Blazer CST cab. The truck is clean with original paint. All the exterior trim is in place and is pretty nice. The truck has not been redone, rebuilt or reconditioned! It is 40 years old! With that being said it has very minimal rust (of course it is in the rockers. Not so much on the passenger side, but the driver side you can see a small hole when you open the door. The weather stripping has been removed from both doors, however I have a brandnew set waiting to go in. The exterior paint is orgininal and is pretty nice. It has a nice patina on the hood. Body dents and dings are minimal. It has a series of bolt holes on both the back left and right quarter panels where there was once a tire carrier swing gate. It is no longer there. The tailgate works flawlessly as well as the rear hatch from the top. The rear hatch door does not lock or secure. It needs the guide rod to actuate the rear hatch handle. The rear hatch stays down but doesn't lock. In fact the drivers door and passenger door do not lock. I don't know why, I never cared. I ran the top off of this rig since I owned it. The top unbolts and is removed relatively easily. The bolts are accessed under the bed rails and that is why I do not have the interior pieces of plastic that screw to the sides of the interior. However I do have all the mounting brackets. Again, I never cared because I wanted the ease of being able to access the bolts and remove the top. The Blazer has a fairly new 4 inch rough country lift with newer shocks and an add-a-leaf so the rear end doesn't sag. The tires are 33x12.50x15 BFG all terrains that are practically brandnew. The wheels are the late 80's model Chevy 15x8 wheels. The motor was rebuilt by previous owner (no I don't have the rebuild authenticity paper work, but I know my trucks and it is rebuilt.) It has a small block 350 with a mild cam and new exhaust with thick wall headers. The truck sounds awesome and runs flawlessly. It has the original 4 spd with granny low transmission and transfer case. Both are flawless and a brand new OEM saddle steering wheel. The bark and lope of the engine I will equate to the perfect muscle car sound. The interior paints on the dash is awesome. It has the A/C vents but noo A/C, infact there are 3x3 inch speakers mounted under the dash where the A/C is. There is also a Sony CD player in the dash, which was install without cutting. There is also a 10 disc CD changer under the front passenger seat and two 6x9's in the back. The front passenger seat and driver seat have been reupholstered and covered since with the cowboy seat covers. The rear seat is nice, but has not been reupholstered. The carpet kit is brandnew with the heat insulation pad under. Again this truck is not redone. It is however a nice driver and clean rig that anyone who knows what they are looking at and what they want will be happy with. This is not a $20,000 dollar blazer, not even close. I ran my family around it for a year and we had a blast. The family wants to dirtbike and this is why I am selling it. The next owner will have a lot of fun with this truck. Its clean enough that is respectable to drive around and take places and straight and solid enough that if you want a little project you don't have far to go. I will answer questions obviously, but please read the add. I don't want to answer questions that appear in the description and I won't disclose my reserve. And please don't ask questions I would need to be the original owner to know the answer to, because I am not. The pics you see are all the ones I have or that I am going to have. If after 40 plus pictures you still don't know if this is the truck for you, then it is probably not. Thanks and good luck. This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. This truck is sold as is with no implied warranty. I will accept certified checks or cash. A personal check is fine, but it will clear before the truck leaves my possession. I don't do paypal either, so please don't ask!
