Buying your next vehicle through one of my auctions could save you thousands over retail. Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before being listed on eBay so I can tell you how it looks, runs and drives as accurately as possible. I recommend that each potential bidder come see and drive a vehicle in person before placing a bid. Vehicles are shown by appointment only at my York, PA storage facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Please take the time to read this entire description, including reviewing all photos, before bidding. My descriptions tend to be a little longer than others but the information is all there for your benefit. Please take advantage of all the information available to you. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1990 Toyota 4Runner. I would rate the exterior condition of this 4Runner to be BELOW AVERAGE. You can easily see that some "custom" paint work has been done to this one. Upon closer examination, it looks like this 4Runner was getting some of the usual fender rust that these are known for. The owner apparently attempted to repair this and conceal his lack of skill with black paint. The good news is that it looks like he used undercoat or something in the problem areas so there is no exposed metal...it just looks dumb. Otherwise, the body of this 4Runner is actually nice. There are no major dents or scratches to be found. The tires look to have plenty of tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact, too. I would rate the interior of this Toyota to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. Other than a small split on the driver door arm rest, there is really nothing to complain about. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show very well for the age of the vehicle. The seats are even more impressive. The gray cloth seats show almost no signs of wear at all! The headliner is clean and tight. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner does not work. The stereo has been upgraded to an aftermarket CD system which sounds fine. The manual is included. Mechanically, this Toyota doesn't appear to be in bad shape. The V6 engine starts easily but runs roughly. These trucks are known for vacuum leaks which would definitely make it run choppy. I found one leak but I can still hear another one that I can't find...but I'm not a mechanic so I was just happy to find one, haha. The engine keeps perfect temperature and there are no warning lights on. Out on the highway, this truck actually cruises pretty well. It'll do 70 no problem and no pulling or shaking. The suspension and steering are nice and tight. The brakes stop the truck well with no pulsation. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts well. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Anyone with more mechanical knowledge than me should be able to get her running smooth again. Get yourself behind the wheel of a 4Runner before the snow starts falling this year.
