Each vehicles description includes everything I know about the vehicle as well as dozens of full sized photos. Please take advantage of this and review the entire description before bidding. Vehicles can be shown BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at my warehouse in York, PA. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1997 Toyota Tacoma LX. Toyota trucks have an incredible reputation for rugged construction and reliability. This truck is no exception. This truck was actually traded at my dealership on a Subaru Outback last week. Since then, we have put about 300 miles on it and it seems to run and drive great. As you would expect, the exterior is showing some age. I would rate the exterior of this Toyota as AVERAGE for the age and miles. Overall, this is a decent looking truck. The buyer of a used truck should expect scratches and dents here and there from normal use. Please review each of the photos. The tires are in great condition and have plenty of tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be in tact. This truck has a bed liner, too. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in AVERAGE condition. The door panels are clean and show minimal wear. The carpets also show well for the miles. The seats are not torn or worn out throughout. The stereo system is original and sounds fine. The climate controls work well. This truck has air conditioning but I don't think it is working. The heater is excellent. Mechanically, this Tacoma appears to be in good running condition. The economical 2.7L four cylinder engine starts and runs well. I've not seen any smoke or leaks coming from this truck. During our road test, this truck has shown excellent road manners. It keeps a proper operating temperature at all times. Highway driving is very smooth. There is no pulling, shaking or vibrations at highway speeds. The suspension is nice and tight like it should be. The steering is light and responsive. The brakes stop the truck well and show no issues. The clutch is strong and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes are smooth through the manual transmission. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This truck will need a new belt soon. Please read the next few sentences carefully... I am told that this truck will need a catalytic converter to pass emissions and a new muffler to pass safety. An OEM converter is ridiculously expensive. Aftermarket units are a fraction of the cost and can be purchased at any auto parts store. This truck does have brand new PA safety and emissions stickers. If you are a PA resident, this truck is good through January of 2013. If you are an out of state buyer and require emissions testing, these will need addressed to pass inspection. This truck has PA stickers...well...because I can make things like this happen. Either way, I want you to know that these will eventually need dealt with. In the week I've had this truck, I've put about 300 trouble free miles on it. The previous owner of this truck is a personal friend of mine who live in PA and works in Baltimore.
