I am selling my 1996 Ford Contour GL sedan. It is in very good cosmetic condition with no rust, never wrecked and a clear title. The body is strait and the interior is clean as seen in the pictures. The tires have at least 80 % tread life left and were purchased within the last 1 1/2 years. The engine runs well and gets great fuel economy..! The A/C was recharged a year ago and blows nice and cold. The vehicle was purchased for my grandmother and she drove it till she was unable to drive. The vehicle set in my fathers building for almost 8 years due to a transmission issue. We purchased a used transmission from a salvage yard locally and installed it ourselves. They were unable to specify the mileage of the transmission when we purchased it. It ran very well for almost 2 years until we started to have issues with it shifting. But the vehicle still starts right up and currently only runs in reverse. I am selling the vehicle as is. Would be a great economy vehicle for someone who is able to install or rebuild a transmission or knows someone that can do it for them. It is also being sold locally so the auction may end at any time at my discretion. We can even trailer the vehicle to you for an extra cost per mile.
