This a 1962 Champ pickup, that has had the original box removed. The frame has been shorten 11 inches and a 1994 ranger stepside box installed. The gas tank was moved back and comes out the ranger box gas door. I had a new one piece drive shaft made. The top grove was filled and tail light holes. This truck has a rare slidding back window. The truck was lowered 4 inches and old mirrors removed and custom mirrors installed. The seat was recovered, new door panels, new kick panels, new headliner and new dash pad. I installed new custom gas shocks and an electric fule pump. Installed new weather stipping. I made custom bumpers and tail lights. I made a custom tail gate and latch mechanism. The truck has new floor pans, new rockers, new nos fenders. This truck runs well, and drives like a new, 1962 straight axle front end, pickup. Everthing works. The truck has a 259 cu. in. V8, with 4 barrel carb. and an Avanti shifter and transmision. I had the carb rebuilt. I have been driving this truck daily with no problems. On the freeway it runs best at 65 mph. The altenator is a G.M. one wire, that has been on the truck since I bought it. I took out the glove box and installed a cd player and radio. All of the lights and switches are working. The bad, the gas gauge only works between 1/4 and 3/4 (empty and full). The glove box fell apart when I took it out. One of the tubes for defroster is missing and one of the tubes for the vents is ripped. One of the rims is a 16 in. the rest are 15 in. I am working on getting another 15 in rim and use the 16 in. as a spare. You may call me @ 616-299-0302 I may consider projects as partial trade ins check before bidding.
