These 2-door tin-top G-wagens really make the late-model desperate housewife AMG versions look silly. This is the one to have!! Steel wheels and the black bumpers and grill are in great shape! The plaid interiors are our favorite option on these trucks. The 2-spoke wheel looks just right, and we don’t mind the automatic with the gas engine. More power or a diesel swap would be nice, but this is a stout combo as-is and much more peppy here than in a larger and heavier 4-door. The exterior and interior are quite clean, but the engine compartment could use some detailing. Any seasoned Mercedes mechanic named Wolfgang or Hans should be able to tune this engine by ear.
