Vehicle Detail

All proper California DMV paperwork has been done so that you will NOT have to smog this truck to transfer title or to register it every couple years! This is a huge deal for old truck enthusiasts. it's hard to keep them legally on the road in California. Modifications: -6.2 Liter Diesel. (Installed out of a 1984 blazer) -700R4 Automatic Transmission with Overdrive -NP208 Part Time Transfer case. (Currently broken, but have rebuilt replacement) -Custom length Rear drive-line with CV installed at transfer case end to help with drive-line angle. -3/4 ton axles (Brand new 5.13:1 Gears installed. But it is indeed a 6.2L Diesel. Just another bit of information. This Vehicle has had all the DMV paper work done to change the pink slip to show that it is a diesel. So according to DMV, no Smog Certificate is required to transfer title, or as a registration renewal. Just added a couple more videos. One of a cold start the other day. first time it was started that day. the glow plugs need to warm up that's why it takes a few seconds for me to turn it over. but it starts right up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqL2nttZhOE Second video is just a walk around the blazer so you can get a full 360 degrees of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVHlNNY1Ok0
