You are bidding on a REAL BARN FIND. 1957 Oval. This car has been sitting under a shed roof since the late 60s. The 1966-1967 tag is still on the rear deck lid. This vehicle was owned by the late and very eccentric Oskar Zernikow. Oskar has achieved somewhat of a celebrity status as of late. Two of his cars were sold to Classic VWs in Congers New York, one of those has even made the news for it's historical significance. The car up for sale today was Oskars second most adored vehicle. This is an unmolested, numbers matching, original. The vehicle has not run but the engine does turn and shows signs of compression.There is no title for this vehicle. In the state of Mississippi prior to 1966 there were no titles issued for vehicles.I will write out a bill of sale.*** update*** After having this car in my possession for over a year, I finally looked in the ash tray and found the original key.
