This is a 1969 Mercury Cougar that started out as an XR7 and built into an Eliminator clone. I have owned the car since 1997 and has always been garage kept. I have been restoring it a little at a time since 1998 and have put over $10,000 in upgrades and accesories. Have a family now, so unfortunately this car must be sold. Originally had a 351 Windsor. The car now has a 302, original FMX automatic transmission, and a 9” rear. Almost fully restored, runs great and can continue to be restored as you prefer. The car looks great and is fun to drive, I get compliments everywhere I go. Original items that I have that are no longer on the car: 351 Windsor motor (no heads), xr7 hub caps/symbols and low back front seats and steering wheel - will all be included at no extra cost. Also have the hood stripping to complete Eliminator look, just has not been applied yet.
