Completely dismantled and restored. The frame was sandblasted and painted, the wood flooring is new and has been soaked with an all-weather sealer. New fuel tank and filter. New seals on the rear drive shaft, wheel hubs all around, and transmission. The engine was tested for faults and completely rebuilt. New muffler system, new front bumper (rear bumper was in very good used condition), new carpets and seats. The tonneau is used but in very good condition also. New convertible top installed. The paint is known as "driftwood beige metallic" and is also new to the car. A British Heritage Report will accompany the car. The mileage is stated as 63182, but have NO confirmation of that being accurate. Has the standard 4-speed transmission. This transmission has the 3 synchro rings, second gear synchro was worn and was replaced---the others were in great condition. For those interested, the engine was rebuilt by Jim Clark at Engines Renaissance in Minnesota---knowledgeable and experienced in the British motors---the pistons were bored .040 with matching rings, street perfomance cam shaft, cylinder head redone for unleaded gas, hardened valves and seats. A transferrable warranty does come with the engine. The wheels are a standard 4-lug wheel with an imitation "knock-off" look. Front wheels have disc brakes with new calipers.
